I just received this screenshot of the upcoming Silver Efex Pro 2 software. You can see a list of all the new features on niksoftware.com. Silver Efex Pro 2 will be released in February 2011.

    Wow! I didn’t know that even new revisions of specialist photo plug-ins are getting the blurry-cam internet leak treatment these days!

    I am excited about this release (even though I think it’s 2x the price it should be), but this image doesn’t tell me much. The visual presets on the left are the same as in HDR Efex, so that’s as expected.

    The tiny border around the loup is gone, so there’s a slightly more efficient use of the screen real estate there!

    Perhaps the most astounding change is the “Silver Efex Pro” writing in the top right is bigger!

    The second slider down on the right looks to be the “Dynamic Brightness” slider. Not much of a surprise given we already know that’s a new feature.

    SilverEfex Pro is a great piece of software, as is ColorEfex, hope they haven’t messed around with it too much for this new edition.

      I guess this spy shot was worthless – did not know that they released an official screen shot
