Photojojo will add two new flash accessories to its online store on Monday:
The Pop-up Flash Bounce ($30)
"This smart and simple hood contains a mirror that directs the flash on your camera up, bouncing it off the ceiling to create even, natural light just like the pro's do with their external flashes."
The Ring Flash Adapter ($40)
"The Ring Flash Adapter is a reflective circle that attaches to the front of your external flash then slips over your lens. It requires no batteries, chords or cables because it uses the flash you already have by redirecting it's light into a diffused circle."

The pop-up Flash Bounce is called the “Lightscoop” and is made by professor Kobre
This ring flash adapter is just a copycat, you can find cheaper on EBay. I think all “ring flash adapters” are POS. The main problem: the flash focus aid (the red light that helps AF) is blocked by the device. No good in bad light.
I tried the lightscoop DIY version using an angled white card under the flash.
The only thing that accomplished was an ugly shadow cast on the scene.
This coild be better but it’s still buly and clumsy.
I wish the made a tiltable onboard flash…
I wish there was something like an external flash available …
Such would be way smarter than the Pop-up Flash Bounce.
Hey, I just remembered something. Oh, that’s cool.
is it just me or they have canon camera and nikon flash?
All the cool people do.
skip that ring flash. they’ve been selling it on ebay for a while – you lose about 6 stops of light from that thing.
Now I need a camera with a pop-up flash! Will it never end?
The O-flash, is a cheap ray-flash copy from China. They’ve been selling for about $30 in Hong Kong fro some time. They aren’t particularly bright (losing 2 or more stops) and not really wide enough for me.
The O-Flash POS is fortunately easy to disassemble and line with aluminum foil. You gain about a stop and a half by doing this. The dang thing shoots most of its light into the stupid piece of cardboard at the top. Put foil under it and under the plastic light pipe, and you get some serious increases in output. Just wanted to let you guys know. I have one and it was nigh unusable until I modified it- but modifying it took 20 minutes tops.
