Even more Samsung NX200 mockups

An update to my post from two days ago: there are some new Samsung NX200 mockups published on the Korean SLRClub forum. I would not be surprised if one of those is actually the real Samsung NX200 camera:

    Until they put IS into the body, they are as useless as other mirrorless (except Oly, of course)
    I just wish Nikon will do in-body IS for they new ML. Doubt it, tho.. :(

      How the photography survives without on-body IS for long time?

        That;s simple; they had in-lens IS. There was no other choice with film but it’s a decade ago and these new cameras have no excuse not to put IS in the body. Especially Samsung and Sony that have in-body IS in their normal DSLRs.

          IBS would increase body size and, as is the case with the Oly cameras, generate a bunch of extra noise. Have you ever heard, say, an E-PL1 take a 2-second exposure? The thing sounds like a slow-speed dentist’s drill. You can get away with this a lot easier with SLRs, as their bodies tend to insulate the sound.

          I.S is a modern feature for people who dont know who to use shutter speeds properly. But hey, it could be worse..just be grateful that Samsung actually gave you a aps-c sensor in their cameras and not that teeny weeny m4/3 junk in the Oly cameras. 2 x crop factor? Now that’s useless.

    At least they ditched the funky shape of the NX100. Shame about the mount depth and contacts getting in the way of legacy lenses, though.

      You can thank sony and panny for the race to making cameras the size of a pack of cigarettes. than after they make their cameras that small, they’ll do a 360 and start making it big again. At least the nx100 has a nob and dial to make it look like a camera. The sony nex resembles that of an L block from the game of tetris.If you keep buying blocks for cameras, what else are camera makers going to give you in the future. Have you seen the new sony c3? It’s so small , the back grip is so misplaced..you practically have to dislocate your thumb t hold it properly. That’s what camera makers like sony give you when you buy their crap…more of their crap..x two.

    These renders look pretty sweet, esp the first one. If only they made a better sensor. The sensor is the one thing holding them back from competing sternly against Sony. Their lens collection is actually pretty good, better than the NEX. The m43 lens collection may beat them now, but the m43 sensors are in the same boat as Sammy’s.

      What’s so good about the m43 lenses? Except for the 20mm Pany, I don’t think there’s that much there.

      I’m in the market for a mirrorless system and think Samsung is miles ahead of all compton with the lens line up. Which is a shame as NEX 7 is looking damn sexy.

      Be interested to see if nx200 can compete… Should be a lot cheaper of course…

    Go to try the new Nx200 – the last mock up is closest. It will be 20 mega pixels.
