    $599 for the black ? That’s $100 cheaper than I imagined.

White with wooden grip replacement will look nice I imagined. Looking forward to this one.

even in their attempt to make it look better, ricoh failed to colormatch the body and the fixed lens housing. i bet their designers come to work with nonmatching shoes and socks on.

Go search for a white GR1s and you’ll understand why.

Maybe a little off topic. But I noticed the largest electronic shop (MediaMarkt) in my region were selling their (2) GXR bodies with lens for half price! One with the 24-72 (really 5.1-15.3, compact sensor) zoom and the other with the 50 (actually 33 mm, aps-c) macro. Propably because nobady here was buying them because of price. (most likely) Or Ricoh will release a GXR-2?

No rumours about GXR2. Sometimes they do have trouble selling them, especially the zoom lenses. Most Ricoh buyers like the primes.
