Sony A900 discontinued in Japan

Sony Japan confirmed to DCWatch the discontinuation of the a900 model camera for Japan. This is not really something new since the a900 was listed as discontinued on Sony’s Hong Kong website back in May of 2010. For the US, Amazon currently shows only 20 cameras left in stock.

Few weeks ago Sony reaffirmed that a full frame camera is still on their roadmap. They have not made a decision whether future models will have Translucent Mirror Technology.
