Peter! Have you heard about another version of D800 with lower mp count and better iso/dynamic range?
no, only about another version without the AA filter
i like more compact and lighter. but i don’t really know what to do with 36 megapixels… concering iso it doesn’t hurt so much, since i de-noise and reduce in size every picture anyway. but i strongly hope dynamic range is not affected and at least as good as in d7000. and the other thing is memory. these raw files are BIG – that means a lot of money for memory cards and also my hard disk get filled too quickly, and file handling is slow. it would be nice if the processor could at least produce 12 or 18 megapixel “raw” files, which would not be raw concerning sampling of course, but at least in respect of dynamic range.
That’s actually the photographer’s fault for not being careful/selective enough
It’s a fake
Yea…whats up with that? NR Admin says its a fake? Is this a joke or what?
Picture might be ‘doctored’ a bit, to conceal the source?
I seriously do not think Admin would make a ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’-statement without being rather convinced himself about the outcome of this story…
no, this was a comment by somebody who pretended to be NR admin
And how do we know you are you?
Because I can delete comments, the other guy can’t
His comments are gone now.
The front dial looks very suspect.
Just peep a little in the nikonrumors post…. incredible how people can go nuts with this.
