Panasonic announced their Lumix compact product line for the first half of 2012. The new batch includes two superzoom, two rugged models and two entry level cameras - they are all priced and already listed on Amazon:

Agree with Allan-where is the LX6????
Why can’t Pana adopt BOTH NTSC and PAL video standards in their DC products just like their M4/3 camcorder? They may have some good models, but it is the video standard restriction that scares off potential buyers.
Same thing goes to ALL modern Sony DCs with AVCHD capability.
As long as these brands stick to one video system on their camera products depending on region, such products should be blacklisted and avoided from one’s wishlist.
How come this p&s cam will do 1080/60p when the D4 will only do 1080/30p?
Anyone who’s got an explanation for this?
