What happened to the rumors of a black Olympus 45mm f/1.8?

    • Narretz

It is rumored Olympus will announce two more lenses, but since nothing is known about them, it is speculated that these are the black 12mm and 45mm.

    I’m a little confused, is it a f/2.8 with a 1:? reproduction ratio (hoping for < 1:2, I love my Sony 100mm f/2.8 1:1) or a f/? with a 1:2.8 reproduction ratio (which isn't much of a macro to write home about…)

1:2.8 is the aperture. I am sure the lens will have a 1:1 reproduction capabilities

    …a Hologon?!

I think that the 15mm f/8 is in fact the “cheap prime lens”.

f/8 wide angle lens. What gives? Uncoated glass elements? It better be cheap. Like cheaper than Canon 50/1.8 cheap.

Perhaps the new 12-60 will be a faster model, sort of like their 4/3 12-60/2.8-4.
