looks like it could be half decent looks nice with the grip would be excited to see more specifics like if its weather sealed, fps and af systems and low light. Still looks like a beauty tho especially with the grip.

Is it a problem to make sentences and use real words…?

  • Michael

    Definitely looks nice!

I like that it`s not plastic but magnesium alloy body.

I wonder, if LEICA takes over this camera into their repertoire to sell it for 1000$ more :-)

I have to admit it looks really sexy with the grip. Unfortunately I have already got a K5 with similar size, well perhaps slightly bigger. And there are so many nice cameras to be released. Tough market for camera makers but good for photographers, many choices. I still haven’t made up my mind…:)

Finally they made it!!!! simply the best ratio between price / quality /portability in both world ,photo & video,I can’t wait to throw away my oldfashioned DSLR & lenses and travel light without the feeling of beeing an high-tech import/ export representant at the airport….
Best new product of the year to me.(period)
PS: we can also watch our ponctuation !

    • M!

We don’t even know its price yet…

Looks like serious business. If the YouTube video was actually done with a GH3, this will likely have the best video/still quality of any m4/3 camera by a good margin. Usability seems fantastic as well.

On the down side, it looks like they chose the same rear LCD used in the OM-D. It’s one of the worst displays I’ve ever experienced, a really unfortunate decision if true.

I wish $1,500 max with lens.
Do I keep dreaming or look into Sony or Nikon

  • Chris K.

Yay focus peaking! Also yay serious grip! Can you tell I love my NEX-7′s grip and focus peaking? :)

I have the Panasonic 12-35/2.8 on GX1. It is as good as the Nikon 24-70/2,8 so now with the upcoming G5 and/or the GH3, I’m definitely switching to Panasonic !
All my used Nikon gear will buy the 35-100/2.8 plus the 100-300 (while the 150/2.8 comes out) and few bodies… Tired of being a sherpa… I go light and I’m sooooo happy with the pictures I’m getting !

  • etr brony

specs look sold, love the look of it as well with the grip

  • Aslan

if peaking was in the specs in the same day of launching the camera…

Im switching from canon DSLR bodies to GH3 in a heart beat.
