There are more information about Russian lenses.
Helios-40-2-C is 85mm f/1,5 art lens with unusually twirled OOF. It will cost 200 € (current price of used ones is close to 500 €).
    MC Mir-20-C is 20mm f/3,5 for 189 €
    MC Apo Telezenitar-C 135mm f/2.8 portrait lens – 275 €
“-C”, “-N” and “-M” means EF, Nikon F and M42 (screw) mounts respectively.
Zenit wants to build complete lens lineup. They already produce MC Zenitar-C 16mm f/2,8 fisheye, and there are information from inside about completely new lenses: 20/2,8, 28/2,8, 50/1,2 and 85/1,4. There are different prototypes of 50/1,2 and 85/1,4 – they didn’t have final decision yet.

Clearly lens sales and profit are up as everyone is jumping in on new lenses. I wonder if the mirror less market is driving this or whether there are other factors at play .

Mirrorless + the fact that film cameras are becoming popular again.

I take Sydney, Australia as an example where film cameras, after hitting near-worthless have shot up again in price.

My compact film camera now costs more than entry level DSLRs for example…
