Today Pentax announced new rebate program: up to $2,199.95 savings on the 645D system and up to $750 on select lenses with the purchase of a K-5 IIs camera body:

Denver, CO (March, 11 2013) — In conjunction with the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Expo (WPPI) taking place at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, NV, March 11-13, 2013 PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION, is pleased to announce consumer mail-in rebates on its renowned 645D medium-format system as well as select Limited series lenses when bundled with its flagship series of DSLR, the K-5 IIs. The rebates, valid from March 11th through March 31st 2013, range from $250 to $500.

Photographers who purchase a 645D camera body will receive a free D-FA 55mm lens and a $500 PENTAX VISA® PREPAID CARD on the purchase of the D-FA 25mm and HD 90mm lens when purchased at the same time as the body, for a total savings of up to $1,000. Additionally, consumers who purchase the K-5IIs camera body will receive a $250 PENTAX VISA® PREPAID CARD on the purchase of FA 31mm, 43mm and 77mm Limited series lenses when purchased at the same time as the body for a combined savings of up to $750.

The rebate will be paid in the form of a Visa gift card which can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. For consumers to receive their PENTAX Visa Prepaid Card, they simply purchase a qualifying PENTAX product between March 11th 2013 and March 31st, 2013 and mail in the completed rebate form, the original or copy of their receipt for the purchase(s), and the original UPC barcodes(s) from the package of each qualifying product.
