Samsung NX500 mirrorless camera specs leaked: ISO 32,000, 4k video, 1/4000s

It seems that a firmware update for the new Samsung NX500 mirrorless camera leaked online. Here are some of the rumored specifications:

  • ISO range: 100 - 32,000 (ISO 25,600 Auto ISO limit)
  • Top shutter speed: 1/4000s
  • Video: 4095x2160 (24p), 3840x2160 (25p / 30p), 1920x1080 (509 / 60p), 1920x1080 (259 / 30p)

    Nx300 can do 1/6000. But 1/4000 would be fine, if the camera finally comes with a decent evf and a buffer able to keep at least 15 raw files.

    I’m not going to be impressed by samsung, until they can offer a direct competitor to the LX100. Something that is pocketable, yet has VF (none of the current smallies from sammy have VF) and can do 4k. The best thing to happen is that, I have confidence that when sammy does come up with such design, it will vastly outperform the LX100 in the still photography (and 4k too since they seem to have good codec?). I’m surprised they haven’t come up with it yet 🙁

      It’s the camera I’ve been asking for about three years.

      Samsung is simply dumb not releasing it. For them, evf equates to bulky camera.
