The latest patents from Olympus and Canon

Olympus dual image stabilization patent
→ Olympus has field patents for a dual image stabilization for both the lens and camera body. Olympus also has a new patent for a digital ND filter.

Here are the latest Canon patents:

Canon10-120mm f:1.8 lens patent
→ Another Canon patent describes a 10-120mm f/1.8 lens designed for a camera with 1" sensor. Maybe this lens will be used in the XC10 replacement.

Canon 18-85mm f:2.8 lens patent
Canon also has a 18-85mm f/2.8 lens patent.

Canon CN-E 20-100mm f:2.8 lens patent
Canon CN-E 20-130mm f:2.8-3.5 lens patent
New patent for Canon cinema lenses: CN-E 20-130mm f/2.8-3.5 and CN-E 20-100mm f/2.8.
