It’s official: Samsung pulling their cameras out of Germany

The German magazine FotoMagazin contacted me to share an official statement they got from Samsung about the company pulling all cameras from the German photography market (Google translation):

"19 November 2015
In Germany, we have been observing for some time a gradual decline in demand for digital cameras, camcorders and related accessories. We have to adapt to the demands of the market and have therefore decided to phase out sales and marketing of these products gradually. This is a decision that affects only the German market."

In the past few months there have been multiple reports about Samsung closing their camera business.
