Panasonic’s new 8k camera to be announced this fall?

8k video format comparison
Panasonic is rumored to announce their new 8k camera this fall (most likely for Photokina). In 8k photo mode each image will be 33.5 MP in size and you will be able to re-focus simply by touching anywhere on the image.

The initial plan set by Panasonic for their 8k camera was for 2020, then it was pushed to 2018. What we will most likely see in September is a  prototype and maybe a development announcement. Stay tuned for additional coverage or you can contact me here if you have some insider information.
