Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II pre-orders will start next week, US price around $2,000

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II was introduced at Photokina but pricing and pre-order options were not available at the time of the announcement. I already reported that the pricing of the new camera will be around $2,000/€2,000. Pre-orders will start next week. Here is the official Japanese pricing:

  • Pre-order start date: November 2, 2016
  • Release Date: late December, 2016
  • Price in Japan: 235,440 yen or around $2,200 (tax included)

Olympus HLD-9 battery grip

  • Release Date: late December, 2016
  • Price in Japan: 32,500 yen or around $310 (excluding tax)

Olympus PT-EP14 waterproof case

  • Release Date: late December, 2016
  • Price not available

Olympus STF-8 flash

  • Release Date: late December, 2016
  • Suggested retail price: 65,000 yen or around $620 (excluding tax)
