Today GoPro announces two new cameras (LIT HERO, MAX2), and DJI announced just one (Osmo Nano)

GoPro announced two new action cameras: the GoPro LIT HERO and the GoPro MAX2 (previously reported here):

  • The GoPro LIT HERO weighs just 93g, this little camera captures crisp 4K60 “HyperSmooth” image-stabilised footage and is equipped with a built-in light with three brightness levels for low-light shooting. It’s also waterproof to 5 meters and has a 100-minute runtime meaning it is ready to go when you are!
  • When it comes to the GoPro MAX2, this is a camera that can capture every angle in True 8K 360 video. It’s 29MP photos, advanced 10-bit colour, HyperSmooth stabilisation, and Horizon Lock, all resulting in sharp and smooth results. And, with six microphones onboard, it can deliver immersive sound that will bring your footage to life.

DJI announced the Osmo Nano (previously reported here):

  • The new DJI Osmo Nano is a wearable action camera built for hands-free shooting with an upgraded 1/1.3″ CMOS sensor, 4K/60p recording, and a 143° ultra-wide lens. Capture rich 10-bit colour in D-Log M, up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range, and super-smooth footage with RockSteady 3.0 and HorizonBalancing. The dual-sided magnetic design clips to hats, straps, and mounts, while the Vision Dock adds OLED live view, fast charging, and up to 200 minutes of runtime.

Preorders are now open at WEX Photo and Foto Erhardt (B&H Photo is closed today)
