Update: false alarm – B&H screwed up, error in their system – they do not have the camera in stock yet and they sent apolagizing emails to customers who ordered it (source). Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH1 was in stock @ B&H earlier today. Amazon has it in stock right now but for $2,499.99 (ouch!). What that means [...]

Panasonic to stop producing Lumix G1, replaced by GH1

The rumor is that Panasonic will stop producing the Lumix G1 and concentrate on its HD capable replacement, the Lumix GH1.

Panasonic GH1 release delayed

According to Amateurphotographer the new Panasonic GH1 will not be available in the UK this month as originally planned. Now the expected delivery is early/mid June. I expect those delays to be world wide. I wonder what’s the reason for this late introduction.
