Sony USA announced today that after the initial delay caused by the floods in Thaialnd, the NEX 7 pre-orders will start shipping this month in limited quantities:
Sony Japan publish a statement confirming Amazon’s product listing note that the NEX-7, NEX-5N, NEX-C3 and a65 cameras will be postponed. It’s interesting to note that the a77 was not listed as delayed. No firm release dates were given:
Sony NEX-7 is no longer available on Amazon “due to manufacturing concerns”. Similar to Nikon, Sony got hit very hard by the flooding in Thailand. Update: the Sony a65 is also removed from Amazon.
