Tokina to start producing lenses for Sony Alpha mount?


Here is the email that triggered this rumor:
Dear Sirs,
All Tokina lenses fit on Nikon and Canon cameras only.
We are now studying and developing Sony alpha mount
and will make a publicity as soon as ready, possibly end
parts of this year.

indeed Tokina knows how to build nice lenses. If only they could improve their coatings… Because many lenses from Pentax are accutaly Tokinas with different coatings. And they don’t have problems with the CA-s.
