SDXC memory cards will reach up to 2TB in the future

"Secure Digital memory cards based on the new SDXC (extended capacity) specification could be out as early as next year with a capacity of 64GB, with 2TB available at some future point, said Kevin Schader, director of communications at the SDA."

    Why anyone would need 2TB in a single card is beyond me.

    Great proof of the advancement in technology though :)

    Dont forget to buy a lot of harddrives.
    And don’t forget to make bakup :)

    I will se Super Duper eXtra Fast (SDXF) memory cards. I want to transfer 100 Raw 10mpx photos in 2 secconds. Dont care if I can have 10 000+++ photos.

    Go faster not larger!
