    Wonder if Canon will announces the 1DR to preempt the Leica M9 ?

    Canon got a lot of the foundation stuff worked out via the G10 – photo quality is amazing – see http://www.luminous-landscape.com/reviews/kidding.shtml

    I suspect the good part of amazing image quality is due to the lack of mirror box induced vibrations. Shutter vibration can also affect – Contax film SLRs had amazing shutters for night sky star photography due to extremely low induced vibration.

    -_-… I hope that’s true. I can’t wait anymore ’til they announce a new body so 50D’s price goes down LOL
