Sony and Canon press conference dates confirmed

I received a confirmation on the Canon and Sony press events scheduled for this month: Canon: August 19th, 2009 (same date was previously reported by CanonRumors) Sony: August 28th, 2009 (previously reported as August 27th – it could be because of the time difference).
