Many many nice L’s
Nice update!
Those lenses are all fantasy items for the vast majority of people – really just a pretty facade. Their weight and cost make them unattainable and/or useless to most of us. Even top flight nature pro photographers may not be too enamored – e.g. I see one of Art Wolfe’s favorite lenses is the 70-200 F4 – he says the lens is optically as good as the 2.8, but weighs much less (and this from a guy who could have someone sherpa around his equipment).
The 500/600 f/4 are only mentioned to be showed at Photokina, not yet to be released! I assume this makes another 4 lenses both Nikon and Canon have (updated). What lenses are left both companies lack an update for? (Old design, not optimized for FF)
