Canon announcement this week

PhotographyBay got a tip that Canon will have a new product announcement on August 17th, 2010. There is another Canon press event scheduled for August 27th, 2010. Canon will probably release their S95, SX130 and SD4500 point and shoot cameras first (August 17th) and then the Canon 60D on August 26th. The rumor is that the new Canon G12 will be released in September.

PhotographyBay also found a Canon patent for built-in radio triggers for wireless flash.

    radio flash triggers would be godsend. if canon would do it in pro body earlier then nikon, that would make lot of people switch.
