I’ve been a photographer for as long as you. I’ve worked in Europe and the United States. I have never owned nor worked with Nikon or Canon. I have always used either Pentax or Olympus. I take the photo using the tools that I have. I am not dependent on the camera in hand. Yes, Canon and Nikon make out standing tools. They are uncomfortable in my hands. My gear fits my hands better. If you are limited to the big two, that is fine. Skill plays into the equation as much as brand. Not every one likes the big two. If you do that is fine. Many prefer the other cameras on the market. Live with it. Learn some grammar while you’re at it.
We do not care anything about what you think or care about. Nobody cares, I mean don’t get me wrong, but now a days, most people have information through many channels and don’t need to follow the herd mentality …
Ok first off, ” GALiLEO ” OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT .. I have been a photographer for 31 years, oh, and how long have you been experienced ? OK then, untill anyone ask you what you think about my opinion, do not speak.
Not everyone has Canon or Nikon, I don’t, and I have been shooting Pentax for 35 years plus. No doubt Canon and Nikon have a considerably larger market share, but that does not mean that other brands are in any way inferior or that “nobody cares”. Pentax have a history of innovation and many followers, and in my opinion class for class, produce arguably the best cameras around. I shoot a K-7 and would not trade it for any other DSLR in the APS sensor catagory.
Besides, shooting Pentax allows me access to all that superb glass for which they are renowned.
EASY EVERYBODY…no need to get coiled up. Brandon I’ve been around cameras a long time too. I’ve used just about every brand and I understand where your coming from. But I know a world with ONLY canon or Nikon cameras on the shelf would not be a good thing! As a Nikonian I would miss losing anymore camera manufacturers.

I think Brandon is right… Everyone has Canon or Nikon.. but I think Pentax is good, like Brandon said, not many people have them…

Should be available within a year or two based on the 60-250 eternal delays.
That’s if there is still a Pentax camera division in a year or two. The way they are losing money, Hoya will likely shut the camera division down.
