Update: a reader did a quick translation - differences between the EP-1 and EP-2:
- Optional Electrical Viewfinder w/ 1,440,000 dots.
- HyperCrystal LCD 460,000 dots
- Continuous Drive 3.5 to 4 fps
- Flash Sync 1/180 sec or below 1/250 sec.
- Upgraded iAUTO and Additional Art Filters.
Translation please? Anyone?

Something is wrong, the video specs of 1280×1080 make no sense at all
I think 1280×1080 is HD 720P and also possibly interlaces the vertical up to 1080 (the 1280 horizontal is too small for 1080P at 16:9) up to 30FPS.

thanks, I will update the post
Not much of a difference so what’s the point? I wonder if the art filters and other software upgrades will be done to the EP1 via firmware as well?
I wonder if the optional EVF will work on the EP-1
