The official Olympus press release will be on February 2nd, 2010 (Nikon will have a press conference on February 3rd, Canon on February 9th and Panasonic somewhere around that time too).
The new Olympus models are:
- SP 600 and SP 800. The SP800 will have a 30x zoom and li-ion battery. It will look a lot like the Nikon P90 (see current Olympus SP series here).
- Olympus is also announcing two new "Tough" models: Stylus Tough-6020 (replacement of the previous 6000 model) and Stylus Tough-8010 (replacement of the previous 8000 model). They will have HD-movie mode and SD card support. The 8010 will come with 5x zoom. Those models should look exactly like the current Stylus Tough models.
- Olympus will also announce many new accessories for these cameras: floating strap, silicone case, etc.
