Adobe CS5 updates

Some updates on Adobe CS5:
  • CS5 will support 64bit, however it will not support PPC anymore
  • It will be faster and will therefore require more RAM
  • It will also have a programing interface for Adobe Flex and it will support Java script & shell script.
  • It will have a module system for ad-ons just like Lightroom
  • It will be easy for developers to create additional plugins.

Here is an old video on CS5:

What RAW files photoshop support isn’t related to itself but to Adobe Camera Raw – the module responsible for opening RAW files. So unless Adobe publishes new version we gonna have support for all the RAW files we have now.

CS4 is 64 bit, except on Mac. PS has “always” had support for third party plugins.
If it’s faster then it shold need less RAM to do the same amount of work in the same time.

Erm… and…. it’s suppose to be new? Plugins are since one of the first versions of Photoshop, LOL.
