Don’t compare cameras ever again until you learn the difference between “then” and “than”.

WTF? :D E-3 has a bit smaller LCD, it’s missing video and has 10MP sensor, otherwise the specs are the same.

Olympus has always came up with innovative new features. I haven’t heard of any. This just doesn’t sound right.

Exactly. This should be called E-3.5 if anything.

If this is true, it is just a small update from E3 (LCD, video, SD card…), probably with AF adjusments, and with best processor for high ISO and DR. Only a E3 mkII…
But Olympus never said that it will change the world, so I dont know were is the joke.
It would be a good way for some 4/3 users like me to upgrade their camera and to continue to use the zuiko lenses.
If you prefer another brand, buy theirs lenses and camera, it is not a joke but real life.
For me, the joke of the year is reading that this future camera only existing by rumors will be more expensive than D300s and with lower pic quality. Fun !

Good pics, whatever the camera ;)

Is this rumor from an Olympus supporter or the opposition (Pentsamcanikony) to try & get more business for themselves?

    I like E-5 specs so far ^_^

……But then my most modern camera is an E-500 and I would buy an E-3 (or an E-1) today if I had the money.

Oly is fooling around with these specs..i bet it will be different and something really innovative will come….unless they already gave up on regular 4/3…..

Maybe Oly is learning from Sigma–release a camera that’s 3 years behind the times.

At least the new E-5 can’t become outdated and obsolete–because it already is.

I’m sure it’ll be a good camera, but if that is what Oly is introducing to compete with the big boys, I have a feeling it’ll be like Olympus bringing a pocket knife to a gunfight.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Welcome to the party E-5. Unfortunately everyone has gone home except for Sigma.

I think that there is a HUGE surprise Olympus is gonna tell us in a couple days…These are just “specs” of the E-5…Just to have you guys sit & cry :…(. Olympus is toying with you so they can cover up what they really have.
