What new products to expect at the CP+ show in Japan

There will be several new product announcements before and during the CP+ show in Japan that will take place in Yokohama (February 9-12, 2012). Here is a quick recap:

• Pentax K-01 - new APS-C mirrorless camera from Pentax. The Pentax K-r replacement will be announced few months later

• Olympus OM-D - new m4/3 camera with built-in EFV and classic OM series design

• Samsung NX20 will have electronic shutter, there may be some hints on the mysterious NX1 mirrorless camera

• Panasonic already announced several compact cameras. They may announce the two new Lumix X lenses (Panasonic Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power O.I.S 35-100mm f/2.8 ASPH and 12-35mm f/2.8)

• There are rumors that the Canon 5D Mark III could also be announced in February

• Nikon will announce new Coolpix models and their new monster - the 36MP D800

• Sony already introduced three new Cybershot cameras, there will be another announcement at the end of February
