Canon EOS 6D US price: $2099

According to Adorama, the US price of the yet to be announced Canon EOS 6D full frame DSLR camera will be $2099 - exactly the same as the Nikon D600. See the rumored 6D specifications here.

    Same price as the Nikon D600 in the USA, but if the UK price is in line with the exchange rate, it’ll be a LOT cheaper than the D600 on this side of the pond. I hope it is less in the UK. That would put pressure on Nikon UK to drop the D600′s price, or start cashback deals. Can but live in hope!

      Dont forget retail staff in the US are paid very poorly and this helps keep costs down. They are paid such low wages that would be illegal in Europe and Australia. Also retail prices in the US do not include GST/VAT which is added at the till in states where it applies. In the UK you shoul take off 20% from the UK price when comparing UK and US prices.

      We all have things to share, but most of us don’t do it where is unrelated. And where is a distraction, because when I see a link in a comment I expect it to be on-topic not personal stuff only the spammer cares about. You can already put a link in the comment’s name, and that should be more than enough. With time, some blogs just start blocking links by default and then we all lose. Thanks to to our spammer and people like you unable to see the problem.

        Anyway the post is about a camera, a camera is related to photography so it is rather on-topic then this Ellis thingy’s constant trolling and bashing of smaller brands.

        Thanks Rob, I can’t understand you Harold Ellis and Ragnarok! I just replied to the fact that I think it’s good that manufacturers like Nikon and Canon are providing photographers with entry-level fullframe cameras. It’s against the tendency we were able to watch at the beginning of 2012 where they offered us only Fullframe at around 3000$ and more after starting lower a few years ago with D700 and 5D II. I really like my Mark III because I don’t buy cameras to sell them after only one or two years, so the price is not too important. Anyway D600 and 6D help us to maybe buy some great and more affordable fullframes in a few years. Sorry guys! Your critique is absolutely off-topic. The rest is only my signature. If you really feel distracted and maybe not only a little jealous or whatever, please ignore it and switch over to another post! :D
