    Any news on price?

    • Mike

      my guess:
      $800 for the Ef-S
      $1400 for the Ef

  • Global

Is the 10-18 fullframe? Remarkable if so.

Wait, is that a fisheye zoom..? What does STM mean.

    • AR

“STM” stands for stepping motor it is the auto focus motor

    • Andrzej Lukowiec

      EF-S is for crop sensor

    • Arn

      ef-S, so nop, it’s a APS-c.

Where de Hell is my 14-24 F2.8
    Canon wake Up……

    • Nicke

I my self prefer a 16-35/4L IS to 14-24/2.8L… So if the rumor is true I am very happy.

    • Neopulse

They have a nice 8-15mm f/4 and 16-35mm f/2.8 you should check out.

      • IsaacImage

Already have 16-35 II nice lens, but not coming close to 14-24 sharpness

        • Neopulse

Then if you have already a Nikon camera with that lens, why not keep it, use Canon and Nikon and be done with it?

          • IsaacImage

1 – Prefer to use one body
            2 – Prefer Canon’s output

Canon is reputed to being weak on wide angles. They must have 14-24/2.8 in evaluation, but decide not to bring it up for now. Maybe it can’t compete with Nikon’s.

  • slaven

    Why 10-18 instead of 10-22?

    • Zos Xavius

      better IQ most likely.

Does anyone know please tell me,

Is this lens it’s going to replace the 16-35 there today? Or it will be th place 17-40 is Aperture 4, and getting out another 16-35 new well and she will be with Aperture 2.8?

And it really going to come out 14-24? That has been from 2012 talking about it ..

    Thank you.
