    only worth mentioning right??
    desirable but not purchasable?
They really need to make their compact more desirable
so they can compete with Canon and Panasonic.

Samsung is more desirable than exilim now in compact game.

I was just talking about “plain” specs, nothing else. I don’t think there is another camera with similar specs, but I am also sure there are other cameras in the same class that have better IQ.

The EX-F1 is still one of my favourite tools…. nothing special for images, but great for timelapse, frame bursts and even the 720p video is good.

I wish Casio would think big and improve on this…. if they could increase the 60p frameburst to 10-20 seconds, it could be a really valuable tool for film makers. Maybe push the 300fps to ntsc specs too and 150fps at 720p.

Hello! Finally someone gets it. The F1 will go down in history not for its gimmicky 50,000,000,000 fps @ 20×3 resolution video mode but rather as the first consumer camera capable of producing TRUE high definition video via the backdoor route of its burst mode. It’s only 60 frames so you can only get 2-3 seconds worth of video without resorting to trickery, but oh how nice those clips are. I have a video up on vimeo that is nothing but short clips I took in Baja 9 days ago DOWNsized to 1920×1080: It plays very nicely on a 1080 TV set
