Wait so this is an announcement (e-mail ad) about an announcement (Feb1) to learn more about when and where I can participate in another announcement(Feb 10)? Why does this NOT feel like a new product announcement?
Also notice they use the word “Edition” and not “Addition”
It’s an H4D-40, at a new lower price. Subscriber copies of a British magazine have the details already, as it’s in the Hasselblad ad, complete with the baby pic above… worldwide launch in 50 cities on Feb 10…

Hope it is an affordable medium format digital camera…

good catch, that has to be a painful typo
Indeed.
strange and surprising. but cut them some slack, they are swedish! engineers dont learn language well.
I assume they will announce the H4D, since that is talked about…, or is that one released already?
H4D has been announced already together with NASA.
I also hope this is an affordable camera with a large sensor. I don’t care if it’s 16MP as long as it’s 49mm or more.
I am trying to remember when ever in the past the concepts “Hasselblad” and “affordable” were used in the same sentence…
There is always a third word accompanying those two – “not”.
hasselblad has never been cheap and affordable

If that’s true, I’ll be really disappointed. No H4D will be cheap enough, no matter how baby it is. GOD DAMN IT!
a baby Hassey at an affordable price!!
The UK price is £12,995 I think, plus VAT = £15,269. Not very affordable then!
