Is this the new Sony a35 camera?

Sony NL currently has a link on their website that is labeled "check out the new α35". Since the Sony a33 was listed as discontinued, the α35 will probably be its replacement. The announcement should be very close since Sony already started updating their websites.

    a replacement should be announced in next couple of months, but the quake made everything a bit more complicated for any japanese corp

    but they are so efficient that they will be up and running as soon as they get reliable electrical supply and that reactor stop acting up

      But a product doesnt have to be produced in Japan, doesnt have to be only in production since announcement and so, so the tsunami may have halted some things, it is not halting all with a Japanese mother brand.

    That’s a quick replacement. It seems like the a33 has been out for less than a year and now it’s discontinued. Maybe this better addresses the hot sensor issue.

    I hope that the speed they came up with a new type will not affect the quality of released. I am considering the a35 as my new camera to be so I hope they did a good job. I wouldn’t mind if the development took more time if the result was satisfactory.
