You can blame Vimeo for that, YouTube videos are fine. Maybe I did not embed them properly?
Yes, you probably have not embedded them correctly, because they still play great on the vimeo site itself on the iPad. You might want to look into that.
As a fallback, I would advise you to always put a link to the source page below each video. This ensure the highest compatibility for all users.
I added hyperlinks to Vimeo – I will try not to forget that step next time.
