Pentax “surprise” teaser for June 1st appears on Facebook

Pentax Spain posted on their Facebbook page another "surprise" teaser scheduled for June 1st, 2012. Some of the possibilities based on previous rumors are:

    it’s just some local thing.
    Pentax doesn’t have a “subsidiary” in Spain, it’s just an importer (Reflecta), which I doubt knows something ahead of the rest of the world

    April 1, would be a more appropriate release date for any Pentax product.

    I’ve never seen a company work so hard at being a failure, except Kodak.

      Yeah, some local thing. By the way, I saw the 3-year warranty extension for the K-5, and 5-year for the “pro” lenses (DA*, Limiteds, 645, 6×7) – nice.

    what’s a pentax.. what s stupid comment. if you have nothing decent to say or write.dont do it. pentax have been around since 1919. yes they maybe now owned by ricoh,but least they are still around, unlike minolta. kodak(chapter 11 bankruptcy protection).

    Probably only a 80€ rebate for the K5 or something like that. I doubt its a new release since its only in the spanish website.

    There’s already a 50e rebate in France for body only, our 80€ for body and a lens, so why not in Spain?

    “What’s a Pentax?”, what the heck is wrong with you? I can understand that you don’t like some brand and frankly Pentax products tend to fail in some aspects. But you’re not a Pentax user and hate the brand, so why on earth do you have to read every Pentax related piece of news and spill venom in the comments? Move on, use and praise the brands that work for you and post in news related to them.

      the warranty deal has been around for a year (it is dated 2011)
