Pentax announcements today at 6pm

Pentax will have their nine new product announcements today at around 6pm EST. You can find detailed information on all of the upcoming products in the Pentax category, or under the Pentax K-5 II, Pentax Q10 and Pentax 560mm f/5-6 lens tags. Check also the Photokina 2012 tag that contains information on many other rumored, soon to be announced products.

    Come on Pentax, at least try to not suck.

    FF us already. Give Canon/Nikon/Sony some real competition. Pentax users are a joke among photographers. Even Sony users pick on us.

      FF is nothing but a status quo at this stage.
      Sure, they can laugh. And why not? Everyone knows that Pentax has held the spot as the best APS-C for several years now.

      I say leave Sony, Canon and Nikon duke it out the FF arena. But the time for something new isn’t quite here yet. And it would be a complete waist for Pentax to get involved at this time.

      The K-3 will take its rightful place as the best DSLR of 2013 by rivaling even the D800 in resolution while beating it out right in low light and system performance. :)

        Almost bought a Pentax K10D years ago but went for a D80. I’m happy I did but I still have a soft spot for Pentax. Would love to see a FF from them.

      Why are Pentax users a joke? Because we have enough skills to make great photographs without the best AF? :D

      Great news about the long tele! A small K-5 upgrade is a bit disappointing, but maybe it seems bigger than I can judge so far. :) I already have a K-5 and most of the time I skip a generation. :)

    6pm in which time zone? I think there are 4 in America! I am in Japan and 6pm in New York will be 7am in the morning here but if you are West Coast it will be 10am here which sounds more likely. So we wait.
