In a recent interview, the Managing Director and General Manager of Pentax Ricoh China made some interesting statement, including the development of a new professional APS-C based Pentax camera. Mr. Tomoyoshi Shibata also confirmed that Pentax is working on a full frame DSLR camera that will be different than anything else available today. Via PCPop

The Pentax K-01 fame was short-lived – one year after the camera was announced and few months after the price dropped in half, Pentax Japan officially listed the K-01 as discontinued on their website. I doubt that there will be a replacement.
