First leaked picture of the Sony NEX-3N mirrorless camera *UPDATED*

One of the major changes in upcoming Sony NEX-3N camera is the electronic zoom control located next to the on/off switch. The camera is rumored to have 16MP sensor. As previously reported, there is there is no firm release date yet.

New: Ibe Optics 26mm f/1.4 lens for Micro Four Thirds

Ibe Optics announced a new 26mm f/1.4 lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. This is the same manufacturer that introduced the Ibelux 40mm f/0.85 lens for mirrorless cameras last week during the 2013 CP+ show.

Sigma DP-3 available for pre-order

The new 46MP Sigma DP-3 Merril camera (50mm f/2.8 lens) is now available for pre-order with a price tag of $999. The estimated shipping date is early March, 2013. Sample images taken with the DP-3 can be found here.

German retailer lists new Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 i-Fn OIS lens

The German retailer Fotokoch has two new listings (white and black version) for a new Samsung NX 50-200mm f/4.0-5.6 i-Fn OIS lens. The entries have a different price (€349) and model number then the previous model. Samsung will probably release the new lens with the rumored NX-R mirrorless camera next month. Panasonic to double sensor’s sensitivity with unique “micro color splitters”

Panasonic Japan announced today that they have developed the technology for producing highly sensitive image sensors by using unique “micro color splitters”.
