A new Panasonic GM1 MFT camera and a new 12-32mm MTF lens are rumored to be announcement in two weeks. Here are the basic GM1 specifications:
- Image processing engine and sensor same as in the GX7
- Built-in Wi-Fi
- Touch LCD screen
- The new 12-32mm lens will have size similar to the 14mm f/2.5
- The camera will have a design similar to the GX7 and size similar to the LF1 models
- The Panasonic GM1 camera with 12-32mm lens will cost around $600-$700
- The official announcement will be on October 29th
Recently a Japanese website reported that Panasonic is considering a withdrawal from the low-cost compact camera market.
