New Fujifilm X-T1 firmware update to be released in December

Fujifilm will announce a new firmware update for the X-T1 mirrorless camera in December. Here is a list of the new functionality that will be added (the new Fuji X-T1GS model already has some of the new features):

  1. New electronic shutter
  2. New film simulation "Classic Chrome"
  3. LCD brightness/EVF/LCD color control
  4. Normal Live View mode
  5. Direct focus area selection
  6. AE-L/AF-L button setting
  7. Video mode (60p/50p/30p/25p/24/)
  8. Manual video control (ISO, aperture, S.S., AF mode)
  9. Phase detection on instant AF
  10. PC shooting
