In case you missed my post over at NikonRumors: Cosina Japan announced the discontinuation of the following Zeiss lenses (some of them are being replaced by the new Milvus collection):
- Zeiss Distagon T* 3.5/18 ZF
- Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/21 ZF.2, ZE
- Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/25 ZF, ZS
- Zeiss Distagon T* 2/28 ZF
- Zeiss Distagon T* 2/35 ZF.2, ZE, ZF, ZS
- Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50 ZF
- Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/50 ZF.2, ZE, ZF
- Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/85 ZF
- Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/100 ZF.2, ZE, ZF
Just last week Cosina discontinued a total of 23 Voigtlander VM cameras, lenses and accessories.
The following Zeiss lenses are getting a price increase in Japan on October 18th:
- Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/50 ZF.2, ZE: new price ¥78,000 (old price: ¥67,000)
- Zeiss Planar T* 1.4/85 ZF.2, ZE: new price ¥135,000 yen (old price ¥119,500)
- Zeiss Distagon T* 2.8/25 ZF2: new price ¥110,000 (old price ¥97,000)
