Additional information on the Irix ILA-FE2EF adapter for Sony E-mount

In September last year I reported about Irix coming up with a new Irix 45mm f/1.4 lens, Irix ILA-FE2EF adapter for Sony E-mount (for using Nikon and Canon lenses on E-mount cameras) and Irix filters (already announced). Here are some additional pictures and information on the Irix ILA-FE2EF adapter for Sony E-mount:

  • The price will be around $70
  • The official launch will be around October
  • A new lens will be announced in the same time frame (probably the Irix 45mm f/1.4)
  • The pictures shown here are from a prototype, not the final version
  • The new adapter should work better than anything else available on the market today

Irix products are sold in the US (B&H, Adorama, Amazon) and in Europe (Amazon UK, Amazon DE, Amazon FR, Amazon IT).
