First leaked picture of the Panasonic Lumix G9 camera plus additional specs

I received this picture from a reader of what appears to be the rumored Panasonic Lumix G9 MFT camera:


While this picture comes from a new source, I did some comparisons with the current G85 version (pictured below) and you can clearly see how Panasonic moved one of the top dials in order to make space for the new top LCD screen I already reported about last week:


I also have an updated list of Panasonic Lumix G9 specifications (initially reported here):

  • To be announced in the next 1-2 weeks, available after Christmas
  • Same photo capabilities as the GH5
  • Different video capabilities (compared to the GH5)
  • Second display on top of camera
  • Rumored price: €1,200 (around $1,400)

  • 80MB shooting mode - it can stitch multiple pictures (for example 6 pictures can produce 1GB final image)
  • 20MP sensor

  • Two memory card slots
  • New joystick (see leaked picture)
