Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with APS-C sensor is a possibility (Canon also rumored to start using Sony APS-C sensors)

Rumors of a new Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with an APS-C sensor surfaced online again. There is also the possibility that Canon will start using the brand new Sony IMX571 26MP back-illuminated APS-C sensor in one of their upcoming cameras (not sure if it will be a DSLR or a mirrorless with RF mount).

In a recent interview, Nikon confirmed that they are currently not interested in making Z-mount mirrorless cameras with a different sensor size.

The Canon EOS R mirrorless camera is now in stock at: AdoramaB&H, Amazon and Park Camera (UK).

Additional Canon EOS R coverage and the latest reviews can be found at the new Canon EOS R Facebook page.
