Panasonic S1 and S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras additional details announced today: high-resolution and high-dynamic range modes




Panasonic just mentioned in their live stream that they will introduce their new S1/S1R full-frame mirrorless cameras today at the CES show (update: Panasonic announced only two new features of the new camera and confirmed the shipping date):

The live stream is just voice (shame that Panasonic, a video company, could not provide a live feed of their press event at the biggest show on earth)... waiting for the S1/S1R presentation - stay tuned...



The Panasonic Lumix S will be available at the end of March...


The new cameras will have a new High resolution mode (up to 8 images):


The Lumix S will have also a new High dynamic range feature (pixel shift) with Hybrid Log Gamma (or HLG) HDR format (HSP files).

That's it. Basically, Panasonic announced only two additional features (high-resolution and high-dynamic range modes) for the upcoming S1/S1R cameras. No other details.
