Canon rumors: 100MP mirrorless EOS R camera with IBIS is a possibility

Northlight Images reports about the possibility of a 100MP EOS R mirrorless camera with IBIS capabilities to be released in the future:

“We’re told (thanks!) that Canon will break the 100MP barrier with an EOS R model with IBIS – this was included in an update pointing out how Canon stopped any MF system development several years ago.”

So far we have heard rumors about EOS R APS-C, EOS R 8k and EOS R PRO mirrorless cameras. It will be interesting to see which path Canon will choose for their mirrorless line.
