The new Sigma full-frame mirrorless camera with L-mount will have a 60MP Foveon sensor and is delayed until 2020


The previously reported Sigma full-frame mirrorless camera with L-mount and a Foveon sensor is postponed and will be announced next year (2020) according to a report from DC.Watch - the reason given was a delay with the sensor development. The official camera announcement was initially scheduled for 2019.


The new Sigma full-frame mirrorless camera with L-mount is reported to have a 60MP Foveon sensor (60.9MP to be exact, 3 layers x 20MP Foveon sensor).
